June 2025
The flowering season is over at this moment of writing. We took thousands of pictures at our trial fields and Peony Showgarden. And we are very happy with the results. Last year we started with the sales of the named seedlings. And we see an huge expanding of the sales in 2025. Especially the Chinese customers are very interesting in buying the brand new seedlings of our breeding program. For example, Colour Sense, will be shipped completely to China. And fun to see, that the Dutch growers are waking up, and start buying seedlings for their own tuber growing programs.
May 2025
What a wonderful flowering period we have. The weather is perfect. A lot of sun. And not to warm. Gives a very long period of flowering. Which results in a lot of time for selection and making loads of foto’s. We see a very good quality of the Future Peonies seedlings. And we see a lot of amazing new material coming up.
April 2025
In April we made some very exciting deals with a couple of Dutch growers. We sold some very good material to the Dutch growers. From now on, our best growers will deliver the sold plants what will be bought by our foreign Peony growers. We also sold some unnamed seedling and gave it names what have been given by the buyers of the plants. Like naming grandchildren or spouses.

The first new seedlings are coming out of the ground. The fields are covered with mulch again. And we can’t wait till the spring is in the air.

Every year we get more exciting about the new seedlings that start blooming.

We harvested 4 fields at the Showgarden. We replant them at the new fields at our Showgarden.

April 2023
In the fall of 2022 we planted again an 400 Seedling plants at the Peony Showgarden. We have the first seedlings blooming yet. When you want to visit our Showgarden please contact us for an appointment.
May 2023
We showcased our seedlings at the Peony Showgarden in Holland. In the past few weeks, we have received a large number of visitors from all over the world at the Peony Showgarden. The visitors have shown great enthusiasm for our new seedlings, which feature a variety of special colors. For anyone interested in acquiring unique peonies, it is a must
visit destination at the Peony Showgarden.

December 2022
The website of Future Peonies has expanded with a lot of new material. We also named more than 275 varieties. If you are interested, we can discuss the sales of new seedling material.
We are ready for sales!
November 2022
We planted a lot of material again. At Peony Showgarden Holland we planted about 350 new varieties with 5 plants each.
Spring 2023 will be fun.
January 2022
We downloaded the new pictures on our brand new site: Future Peonies. We don’t know yet what to do with all the seedlings. Some we’ll keep for the flower cut business in Holland, but most of the material is for sale or will come for sale the coming years. We might get started naming and registrating the seedlings at APS. Ask for information about the possibilities.
June 2022
In the spring of 2022 we selected a lot of new material. In the first selection round we discard about 90% of the seedlings, only the best seedlings can stay. What goes to the next round is reserved for planting at Peony Showgarden Holland where we check the material every year. When the seedlings have undergone a test, the failing seedlings will be discarded.
